H hook
acrylic worsted weight yarn NOTE: If you want to use another fiber
with this pattern here are some guidelines for you...
nylon plastic canvas yarn: G or H hook
nylon netting: H or I hook
rug yarn: H hook
Notes:
You will join through both loops, but will work your single crochets
in the back loop though out the pattern until the last round.
Chain 2.
Round 1: 6 single crochet in second chain from hook, join with slip
stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (6 single crochet)
Round 2: 2 single crochet in each stitch, join with slip
stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (12 single crochet)
Round 3: *1 single crochet in next stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch, around
join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (18 single crochet)
Round 4:*1 single crochet in next 2 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch,
around, join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (24 single crochet)
Round 5:*1 single crochet in next 3 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch
around, join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (30 single crochet)
Round 6:*1 single crochet in next 4 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch
around, join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (36 single crochet)
Round 7:*1 single crochet in next 5 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch
around, join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (42 single crochet)
Round 8:*1 single crochet in next 6 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch
around , join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn. (48 single crochet)
Round 9:*1 single crochet in next 7 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch
around , join with slip stitch to first single crochet, chain 1 and turn.(54 single crochet)
Round 10:*1 single crochet in next 8 stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch around,
join with slip stitch to first single crochet but do not turn . (60 single crochet)
Working in both loops for this last round.
Round 11: *Chain 2, skip one stitch, slip stitch in next stitch around.
Join in first slip stitch, end.
